Sometimes I read something off my shelves -- old or new. Sometimes I'm privileged to get the NEWEST from Bookreporter.com. Check out what I'm reading here, and my reviews there. Be my friend on Goodreads, too.

I just finished HEAD CASES by John McMahon. It's wonderful. The "head cases" are a bunch of misfit agents of the FBI in a group called PAR, Patterns and Recognition, who work behind the scenes. They are brilliant puzzlers and profilers but they never hit the spotlight. Until now. Their weird talents are needed now to catch a serial killer. But this killer is unique. He's killing serial killers. Everything about this case is upside down, including who heads up the PAR unit. And PAR might be the next casualty. This read is a wild ride.

Now? I'm on to one of my favorite authors, Carter Wilson, and his newest TELL ME WHAT YOU DID. Wow, it's goosebumps-inducing. The title of the book is the name of a wildly popular podcast where people call in anonymously and confess to whatever is on their minds. But one guy calls in confessing to killing the host's mother. And things go downhill from there....
